CNN cannot independently verify the casualty tolls in Gaza or the Israeli estimates of Hamas fighters killed. Of the thousands of bodies that have poured into his cemetery, he claimed he has buried no more than three Hamas fighters. As Baraka and his men work, they are surrounded by the buzz of Israeli drones and the stench of death. The warning came just days after scores of Palestinians were killed trying to access food in Gaza City on Thursday. “If you want to finish Hamas – I tell you in Hebrew so you can hear me – you are wasting your time.”

"We are sons of Jenin," said one of the Islamic Jihad fighters, who identified himself as Abu Salah. Islamic Jihad is a Palestinian faction sworn to destroying Israel and replacing it with an Islamic state. Many of the Palestinian attackers who have killed Israelis in Israel and the West Bank came from the area. Sometimes the transfers involve criminals and sometimes legitimate or semi-legitimate businesses help to move funds to the West Bank, the militant sources said. Much of the weaponry used by the Jenin fighters comes from Israel itself, stolen and sold on through criminal gangs, Israeli officials say.

An Insider review found that his company has sold to foreign governments, including a $228 million dollar contract. What Mills didn't advertise was Pacem's munitions contracts with foreign governments. The company's chief legal officer Joseph Schmitz said all of Pacem's foreign munitions sales are approved by the Department of State. Mills's influence over American military spending while having ties to a munitions company poses the potential for conflicts of interest, an ethics watchdog said. In Congress, Mills sits on the House Foreign Affairs and Armed Services committees, which oversee military spending and foreign weapons sales.
